At the moment, I have the problem again, with almost EVERY server that should be "free for all"... For example: - Do WTF You Want To Do - Mozar's Free For All - Mass Destruction and some others that also should have open access. Please can anyboday help me???

Problem solved... two days later, I've done nothing, but now it works again...

Hello, since a few days, I have the problem, when I open the multiplayer menu in OpenRCT2, the server list opens absolutely normal. But when I try to connect with a server, I ALWAYS get the message "can't connect to the server". This haoppens IMMEDIATELY; the program doesn't even TRY to connect to the server. It gives only the error message. What do I make wrong?

Hello, I've found some "errors" in the game, that cause that the game is completely unrealistic. - Guests ignore the vertical G's. You can build a coaster with a drop from a very high height into a vertical loop, so you have 20+ vertical G's, but the ride stats is still okay, and the guests come out alive and happy. - ALL guests can't swim. Of course, in reality some people also cannot swim...but only SOME people. - ALL guests obey the "No Entry" signs. It would be more realistic, if a few guests - perhaps 0,5 or 1 % - would ignore them. - People always come alone into the park. In reality, this doesn't really happen. They come with friends, family, a travel group or a school class. Perhaps, these errors can be written on the "To Do List" a future version of OpenRCT2....

Hello! Until now, guests do not use transport rides for their intended purpose: to get to a specific place. They use it like any other ride. So if you have a park for a thrill ride target group (the guests prefer intense rides), it even might be more attractive to build a roller coaster around the park .... If the guests think "I want to go home", they probably are wandering around for a very long time (and get unhappier), instead of getting the idea to take a transport ride back to the park entrance. Perhaps, in the future this bug would be fixed.... Sometimes a guest is heading for a specific coaster, runs ten minutes, can't find it and gets unhappier, although there is perhaps a monorail that would bring him directly there within one minute.

OpenRCT2 seems to be an absolutely niche software. Even in the evening prime-time, the free multiplayer servers often only have about 5 players online. I think that the publisher Infogrames don't interest very much that there also is an open source release of RCT2 - especially it is already 20 yeras old. Aside from that, an original RCT2 version is still required to run OpenRCT2 - so Infogrames can earn money if a new user is interested in OpenRCT2.

I have watched the problem during the last weeks. Mostly, I can't connect to the server at all, although I have the correct version. Often, a few days later, it is no problem to get into the game. Usually after a few minutes, the connection interrupts ("Disconnected - No data"), and when I try to reconnect then, again I can't connect to the server at all. Then I'm waiting a few days (!!!) again, then the connection works without any problems, but a few minutes later I get disconnected...and so on.

Where do I find this "Discord server"??? What is that? I have installed OpenRCT2 on my PC and usually click on the multiplayer menu and then, for example, "Mozar's Free For All".
-
Today in the morning, I could connect to Mozar's Free 4 All, but after 5 minutes the connectioon interrupted, and reconnection didn't work again ...
-
Since two days, I can't connect anymore.... where is the problem there?
-
Now it works again...very crazy...
-
Since a few days, the same problem again...

Since a few days, I can't connect to "Mozar's Free 4 All" anymore .....

Hello, already since RCT 1 (!!!) there is a graphic error in the "Enterprise" ride that is not eliminated until today. The real ride goes completely up to vertical: {img]https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Enterprise_(ride)#/media/File:Zodiac_thorpe_park.jpg[/img] In RCT, it always stays at incline. Perhaps this error can be fixed in one of the next openRCT2 versions....???

Hi! Until a few days ago, "Mozar's Free For All" server was REALLY "free". No discord was required, and I could start to build immediately. Since a few days, I'm always set as a "spectator" when connecting to the game... Where is the problem?
-
I've solved the problem! I had to reconnect my router. Obviously, a bad guy several times banned my IP.

It's crazy ... After the last post in October, suddenly it worked fine again. But since two days, I always get the error message "Unable to connect to server", I found out, that this problem concerns mainly the "Mozar" servers ... Perhaps anyone knows where the problem is, and how to solve it ...????
-
I haven't saved these games locally. I always only connect to the online game.
-
Yes, OpenRCT2 is the only game with these problems - and only the "free" scenarios "Mozar's Free For All", "Do WTF You Want To" and "Mass Destruction" are not working since last week.
-
CAN NOBODY HELP ME ???
-
The network version is the same....the dot is green.

Since several days, I can't connect to several - in principle free - servers. I alwas get the error message "Unable to connect to server". I have this problem with "Mozar's Free For All", "Do WTF You Want To" and "Mass Destruction". A few days ago, it worked fine. Can anybody help me?

Thank you... problem solved. But I also have another problem with multiplayer gaming: With most scenarios, I get the error message "Unable to connect to server" or "connection closed", when I want to join a game. Perhaps anyone can help me here also...
