[OpenRct2 dot io animation broken on Chrome]

Hi all,

Went to check for new release(s) on OpenRCT2.io and it seems that the background is not animated in Chrome on MacOS

Safari it is animated.

Did you, by chance, use the Tile Inspector to remove the park entrances?  AFAIK this will break the placement of new park entrances as removing via Tile Inspector does not update the count of existing Park Entrances.

@Brian not sure if this belongs in this thread but if you're having trouble locating your RCT2 files -

Steam Library -> Right Click Game -> Properties -> Local Files -> Browse Local Files

and that's where your files live.

Reportedly there were some bad .zip's on March 27 - if you perhaps downloaded then, try downloading now.

[Downloading Open RCT2 is not producing a .zip or .dmg]

What/where did you download?  I just downloaded the latest release .ZIP here - clickable on https://openrct2.org/downloads/releases/latest and that works on my machine.

Files will be in /Users/<username>/Library/Application Support/OpenRCT2 accessible via Finder menu bar -> Go -> Go to Folder... 

Personally never had trouble with leftover OpenRCT2 files in the Library

Thanks for the helpful reminder, Gymnasiast!  Last forum I was active in shutdown around 2010.

So someone posted corrupt .ZIP files?  Have the files been fixed?

EDIT:
Launcher still complaining 'Error extracting archive'.  So if it's corrupt files, they have not been fixed.  Is it confirmed that the files are corrupt, or are you speculating?

EDIT:
.ZIP file for latest macOS release extracts OK and the extracted file runs OK, so seems like we're back to the launcher.  and nothing from them yet.

Latest release for macOS on https://openrct2.io/ seems to work fine so am inclined to believe the issue is with the launcher now.
