  1. its within the park limits. and the surface is flat.
  2. Probably because it does that around the entire park.
  3. I run into this issue when trying to place a custom / pre-built rollercoaster into my park. It clearly exists because it's in the list but when time comes to place it in the park, there's only the white squares where it would be, no white / ghost image of the ride (which is supposed to happen). I tried to place Alterrean which i think is a twister coaster ride. The stats are there and the name is in the list in the rollercoaster window. But that error message comes up.

share the file with us i like it.
  5. can you upload an image file showing the parthing option you speak of...thanks also it's not missing path tiles so much as the path does not connect to one already in your park because there is a pre-determined gap because there is a gap between the entrance/exit and ground / supports.
  6. Given that this open development source has kept rollercoaster tycoon alive without the use of the CD which we know won't work on iOS windows 11, i feel its time that we address this error message which indicates that RCT1 does not exist within the OPENRCT2 files nor the RCT2 files. It was an issue for awhile back, but now it's not only reoccuring error message each time the user starts the application, the entire screen freezes from the onset of the application. I have to press the 'windows' key on my keyboard just to go back in the game for it to disappear. Can we get RCT1 as part of the next upgrade? thanks
  7. surprised this hasn't been fixed - when placing a predesigned rollercoaster or ride, sometimes there is a gap between the tip of the path and the ground causing the inability for the path from the entrance / exit of the ride to connect with the main paths in the park thus rendering the ride useless.
  8. i don't think i've seen this previously addressed - How about a fix for the go-karts ride......after the riders complete the race / circuit, they just sit in the cars at the start line. nobody moves. over time, people complain ' i want to get off of this ride'. there's no work around for that currently. Can we get a fix for that? in the CD version of the game, the riders complete the ride and leave the ride. since openrct2, that's never been the case. Thanks
  9. i opened rct2 and noticed that the cheat menu is gone. Where is it?
  10. you think that was still on the table when they put in the Option to manipulate the ratings briefly using the blue command prompt window in-game? Come on bud. The essence is still there man. Even with the open development model.
  11. Good Morning, not sure if this is the right place but I'll shoot - I'm finding that of the custom content I download specifically for RCT, particularly the tracks, are not showing up in the rides list on the game. I have the files in both the 'track' folder of RCT 2 and the 'tracks' folder in Rollercoaster Tycoon Triple Thrills which is the most recent acceptable game compatible with MacOs. Whether the extension of the file is TD4 or TD6, it's not showing up in the game when you go to the rollercoasters (i.e. these files are rollercoasters), and this is after multiple system reboots. Any idea why this is when openRCT2 apparently embraces all iterations of Rollercoaster Tycoon?
  12. good day, while it's great to see all the strides the development team and creatives are producing with openRCT2, it would be nice to finally have a feature where you can alter and save concrete ride ratings. just for fun. the console cheat (i.e. where you type in line for line the ride ID and the ratings you want for excitement, intensity and nausea - doesn't stick, not even if you save the ride the moment the ratings arrive in the game and even if you do that and populate the ride in the same park or a future park.) Perhaps i would suggest a full-blown 'god mode' that is an expansion of what's provided in the cheat menu and has some more options that puts the player into full control over their parks. While we appreciate what's been done, i think to get the full value out of the game and give greater control to the player, it would be great to go in that direction. 'god mode' doesn't have to be a full list of options comparable to the cheat menu and those tabs. More so a + module of 3-4 directly impactful additions that influence a park visitor's perceptions of a ride, piece of scenery. visitors aren't rollercoaster or ride fanatics in the game, which is a real thing in life. no matter how many times you renew a ride. visitors won't ride and/or pay beyond free for gentler rides with the current rating system, no matter if you check or don't check they prefer less or more intense rides. just some thoughts from a lifelong rollercoaster tycoon player
  13. question - so what bearing does the pay park / free rides drop down have on the probability of park visitor's wanting to pay the default price or any price you charge on a ride? like for example, let's say I pick the option 'free park / pay per pride' option from the drop-down, and I have one of the default prices for the theater is $1.50, would they pay the price? reason why i i ask is because even when i had the option that they pay the park and pay per ride, they wouldn't even pay 10 cents for a gentle ride, whether it was the merry go round, the train - heck, not even the theater or fun house. Just curious
  14. So if I have the box checked, that will happen?
