  1. Thank you. I've been able to move the app_285330 file to somewhere else and redirect OpenRCT2 to the new location when prompted and it opened without any further complications. Still, the game has a quite a few bugs, but those are irrelevant to this topic. Thanks again!
  2. Thank you for the detailed response, but I'm still having issues. I've followed all of the steps successfully, but opening OpenRCT2 still requests for a directory. I noticed that in the Steam Console after "Depot Download Complete:" it's immediately followed by a directory: "/Users/*myname*/Library/Application Support/Steam/Steam.AppBundle/Steam/Contents/MacOS\steamapps\content\app_285330\depot_285331" When asked for the directory by OpenRCT2, I tried to follow the directory given by the depot download and the "Library" folder seemingly doesn't exist. I deleted OpenRCT2 entirely and downloaded the latest development version, just to make sure it was a development version and not a release version, and I'm still having the same issue.
  3. Hello! I've been having issues installing OpenRCT2 on my Macbook Pro. I figure that it's not that much of a technically demanding game, especially since I'm not interested in the online/multiplayer aspects, and I've been playing it for a while on Windows 10, and since I've only ever had Windows operating systems, I'm not too familiar with Mac. I am aware that RCT2 is not a game that is available for Mac, but OpenRCT2 is. Thus, leading me to this reddit post: I have downloaded OpenRCT2 and placed it in the Applications folder, and I already have RCT2 on Steam, and I have Steam installed on this laptop. The mentioned reddit post then says to place the bought game files to the application folder. However, because this is a MacOS system, I cannot access these files since they are not compatible with the operating system. This exact problem is addressed in the first comment of the post, which leads to someone linking this forum post: https://openrct2.org/forums/topic/1006-rct2-for-mac/#comment-5492 The OP of this post first has a link and says "download this" but this link has been moved to another location. Going to that location (here: https://github.com/OpenRCT2/OpenRCT2/wiki/Installation-on-Linux-and-macOS) there is only one download link I can see for Unshield, but I have no idea if the OP was referring to that or Wine or whatever, and I don't want to risk downloading a program that'll only clutter this laptop instead of helping , so I have no idea what the OP of the forum post was originally talking about. So, I don't know where to go from there, which is exactly why I'm here. Any thoughts or suggestions? Thank You!
