I also tried using non-symlinks after re-downloading the demo. No luck there either. Could it be my Arch install uses fallback drivers and not what my actual sound card needs?

Hi, I'm running Antergos Linux (Arch distro) x64. I built the git version of OpenRCT2 from the arch user repo since the normal one did not work. I've got the game installed and I have the data files linked as symlinks. I have enabled audio which is at 100 for music and sounds. The audio device is set to default, yet nothing is listed in game to be selected. I looked around at the issue tracker on github, and I am using PulseAudio to control volume, but this issue has been fixed already. Any help would be appreciated!
