  1. So guys! I have enjoyed RCT2 for years and years of my life. I played majority back when I had an XP desktop and was in middle school. I am now 20 years old, and I am in college for computer science. I was thinking to myself, I have a RaspberryPi, and it is always being used for arcade style games... Hmm, what games do I know of that I loved playing, that are also very low on RAM consumption? RCT popped into my head. I looked up the system requirements, and it requires so little RAM that it would work perfectly on the RaspberryPi. Only issue? The processor is ARM rather than an Intel generation processor. Now, I have been trolling the internet for a few different workarounds. First being, let's emulate Windows on the Pi. WINE doesn't emulate a Intel processor though. Next, I asked myself, so we can emulate other things, why not a processor. Found a emulation for ARM to do x86. While looking for that, I was becoming more and more frustrated with "Why can't I just compile RCT2 into Linux??? I have to be able to find the SRC somewhere!". And that is what led me here. I have yet to try the emulation of the x86 processor, due to my fear it will be too slow to play. An emulation of a x86 processor, running an emulation of Windows, running RCT2. It just sounds painful by design. I was wondering if anybody could assist me with trying to download openRCT2 onto the Pi. (Mainly looking for anybody who may have done it already) The Raspbian OS is most similar to UBUNTU Linux, and I am finding that I am missing or unable to download some of the packages listed as required on your install page. Any help would be greatly appreciated. BTK
