geekl33tgamer Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 (edited) Is there a way to mask my IP in the game list for Multiplayer? I've installed OpenRCT onto my server and added DNS records to direct rctmultiplay.geekl33tgamer.com to the server. It works if I choose the "Add Server" option with hostname, but I would like the hostname to be shown if I make it "public" so it appears in the multiplayer list. This should be easy to do, rather than the IP getting broadcast all over Twitch (or to anyone else who happens to see me)? Edited December 29, 2015 by geekl33tgamer
geekl33tgamer Posted January 14, 2016 Author Posted January 14, 2016 (edited) Exactly that, thanks. Can a change be put into the next build perhaps? Edit: Is the change already in a build somewhere - That GitHub change was committed 29th December? Edited January 14, 2016 by geekl33tgamer

janisozaur Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 Isn't it? Do you modify the sources before they're built? As this change is still present in repository: https://github.com/OpenRCT2/OpenRCT2/blob/develop/src/windows/server_list.c#L405-L409
RuneLaenen Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 Oh you're right, it is indeed in the latest builds I must have made a mistake
