Volume Adjustment.

This has probably been mentioned before, or maybe I'm just blind and can't find it, but there should be a way to adjust the volume in game or mute it.

Go to the options menu (right had corner on menu screen, or subset of top-left corner menu in-game), navigate to the 4th tab, at the top you can adjust the ride music and sound effects.

You can adjust the volume of your computer. If you're asking how to adjust the volume independently of other programs, use the volume mixer by right-clicking on the volume button on your taskbar and selecting 'volume mixer'

There is actually a master_volume config option but there is no UI slider for it.  I think it was decided to not have one because the slider for sound controls pretty much everything except music, so it is easy enough, and having 3 volume sliders would be confusing.
